International collaboration
By establishing and developing collaborations of strategic value with international actors, Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) wants to contribute to strengthening national conditions for precision diagnostics, precision medicine and precision health and strengthen Sweden’s attractiveness as a leader in these areas.

International collaboration
Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) has ongoing exchange of experience and dialogues with other national initiatives in genomics and precision medicine in Scandinavia, Europe, and across the world.
We are also a member of the European initiatives 1+ Million Genomes/Beyond 1 Million Genomes together with 24 other EU member states, the UK and Norway focused on enabling the sharing of genomic data between countries.

To jointly promote the development of genomics and precision medicine, GMS has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with a number of similar initiatives and centres internationally. GMS have concluded Memoranda of Understanding with the following organisations:
